Cool Stuff: The Evolution Of The Batmobile

Growing up, I owned several toy Batmobiles. My favourite was always the sleek, futuristic car from the 1989 Tim Burton movie. Surely it's the most iconic vehicle in the history of film, more so than James Bond's Austin Martin or the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 (which incidentally, I also owned in toy form). Over the weekend, I was sent a link by OWF reader 'JohnnyMofo' to this article over at Worst Previews where a graphic titled 'The History of the Batmobile' from Autoblog and Batmobile History, detailing every single Batmobile in comics, film and television over the past 70 years, has been posted. The image was created by these guys. Who knew there was so many and so many different versions? Which one is your favourite? Cool Stuff:A regular feature at OWF showcasing a product, film or basically something cool which we think is interesting, informative and/or fun.
