Cool Stuff: Wes Craven's SCREAM & NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET Mondo Posters

Nicely timed to coincide with the release of Scream 4, those creative guys at Mondo have chosen legendary director Wes Craven to be the next recipient of a showcase entry into their Director Series of unique film posters. Celebrated with limited one-sheets are his signature and mainstream works A Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream, with future additions to follow on other Craven classics The Hills Have Eyes, The Last House on the Left and Swamp Thing. Both posters have been designed by artist Alex Pardee and you can see them both in full after the jump... Both prints are 16 x 24 and are priced at $35, with A Nightmare on Elm Street enjoying a 160 print run and Scream just 140. Both go on sale from tomorrow, April 14th. Follow @MondoNews to make sure you don't miss out. The Nightmare on Elm Street special is the one to take and personally the Scream one is a little disappointing... hardly a unique image from the original movie at all. I guessed initially it was supposed to be Casey's boyfriend from the opening scene but he doesn't get strung up from a tree... Drew Barrymore does, but those trainers don't belong to her. Regardless, I'm sure this could have been executed better.
