Daniel Bruhl Confirms He's Baron Zemo In Captain America: Civil War

Although the news has all but been confirmed previously, actor Daniel Bruhl has now officially confirmed to The Independent that he is indeed appearing as Baron Zemo in Captain America: Civil War. As many had speculated, he will portray Baron Helmut Zemo, the son of the original Baron Heinrich Zemo, who in the comics was a former Hydra scientist who fought Captain America during World War II. His son makes much more sense for the current timeline as in the comics he teamed with Captain America: Winter Soldier villains Arnim Zola and Batroc in an attempt to take down Captain America, and at one point becomes disfigured when he falls into a vat of his father's chemical Adhesive X. Bruhl said; I think I can tell you that without being thrown into Marvel prison, Brühl said. For the first few days Ill walk around like a little boy, just amazed by the megalomania of it.
