19. Meet The Kingpin

Here he is, the series' big bad - Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin. Played by Vincent D'Onofrio, it sounds from interviews that he's more than your usual bland Marvel villain - he has his own arc, dealing with the relationship with his wife, over the first thirteen episodes. He certainly seems to be more than just a hulking villain, with the trailer paying special attention to a little finger-waggling tick. The diamonds seen in the shot before will likely be a major plot device over the season, while the line uttered over the above shot ("We don't say his name") reveals that by the end of the season, at the very latest, Daredevil will be treated as a force to be reckoned with.
