In a continuation the previous scene, a goon ("hired goons") takes a shot at Daredevil. Who this is isn't clear, however - it's none of the major players, which makes their inclusion here rather strange. As with the earlier murder, it's likely this was included to give the sense of more action to a rather talky show.
