The Dark Knight Rises: 5 Thing You Might Have Missed

4. The State of Wayne Enterprises

Found in new viral marketing courtesy of Mountain Dew, Bruce and Lucius have been corresponding through letters as to the state of Wayne Enterprises. Apparently at the start of the film, Bruce will be sequestered in his newly rebuilt manor for whatever reason. Perhaps he was injured escaping the police/falling at the end of The Dark Knight? Maybe his confidence is gone? (Why do we fall Bruce?) Either way, Bruce is not accepting visitors at Wayne Manor nor has he even been spotted at Wayne Enterprises. This has put Lucius in an awkward position as the board is starting to ask questions about Wayne's newest clean energy project. In true Bruce fashion, in response to a 6 page letter, Bruce writes 3 sentences back! His only concern is shutting down the energy project as it is too risky. This new energy project is in fact a form of reactor which is also confirmed to be what that metal ball thing is from the spy pictures in New York and Pittsburgh. It seems Bane has stolen the reactor for destructive purposes similar to The League of Shadows stealing Wayne's Microwave Emitter in Begins.

5. Awards?

This final thought is by far the most exciting. Ready? Here it comes... The Dark Knight Rises is less than a month away and as a self-appointed Batman expert, I am here to tell you all that in light of the recent viral marketing, action figures, tv spots, and trailers, I am certain that The Dark Knight Rises will be the greatest chapter of Nolan's Bat-Universe. I also see no reason why there will most likely be a few acting Oscar nods as well as a very plausible nomination for Best Picture. Mark my words. The Dark Knight Rises on July 20th. And if you need anymore reason to be excited, here's the most recent TV spot... http://youtu.be/jZgS47ZRsiE
