David Slade does the UNTHINKABLE!

The Hollywood Reporter say Slade will direct UNTHINKABLE for Sidney Kimmel Entertainment...

The film delves into psychological manipulation centering on the interrogation of a man who knows the location of three nuclear weapons set to detonate in the U.S. Peter Woodward (Closing the Ring) and Oren Moverman (I'm Not There) wrote the screenplay.
Casting is currently underway, with a summer start date set. After watching 30 DAYS OF NIGHT, I'm kinda glad that Slade didn't stay on JUSTICE LEAGUE for long because I really don't think he's ready for it yet. NIGHT was visually cool and had some great atmosphere but the pacing and storytelling was way off for an epic picture. HARDY CANDY didn't suffer from those problems but NIGHT with so many characters and a bigger landscape did... and I'm worried his JLA would have turn out like that. This movie then is a great opportunity for him to grow as a director. Sounds a little like THE SUM OF ALL FEARS and I wonder if he will go for Josh Hartnett to star?
