Deadpool 2: 10 Directors Who Could Replace Tim Miller
9. Alejandro González Iñárritu

Well, he can do drama (Amores Perros), existential superhero yarns (Birdman) and my gosh he can portray brutality (The Revenant), so why not give Mexico's finest a punt in the MCU?
Mask the mirth, though, as Iñárritu could genuinely craft a great Deadpool flick; his skills at swift editing are unprecedented and, no matter whether he's framing Mexico City's grim underbelly or bright lights Broadway, he can bring a locale alive like no other in the directing game.
Quite simply, he will take on any type of project and has a pretty much unblemished record to date. Plus, he'd hardly be slumming it with a character that although known for killing and joking, can also make you second guess - look no further than Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe for a piece of character treatment that this particular director would have a whale of a time bringing to the big screen.
