9. It's Definitely Earned Its R-Rating

Surprise surprise, Deadpool 2 is going to be just as - if not more violent - than its predecessor, so make sure you aren't planning a trip to the cinema with your family in mind.

IndieWire's Kate Erbland confirmed the film's R-Rated credentials in a Tweet posted yesterday, saying that it "earns the hell out of that R-Rating."

The film's Red-Band trailers certainly seemed to illustrate that it would at least be matching the violence of the first film, but some reactions have said it goes one step further, with People Magazine's Nigel M. Smith even saying that it's "the most violent major release since Kill Bill Volume 1."

Now obviously that's a big claim, but with the first Deadpool having earned Fox plaudits both commercial and otherwise, it's not difficult to believe that the studio allowed Reynolds et al. to double down on the film's violence and humour.
