Deadpool 2: 10 Things That Make No Sense
3. How Did Vanessa's Killer Know Deadpool's Address?
Vanessa is killed off early on when a mobster Deadpool failed to whack storms their apartment and puts a bullet in her. His lover's demise serves as important motivation for Wade Wilson, but there's something awfully convenient about it.
How did the gangster and his cronies know where Wade and Vanessa live? The last time we saw him, he was holed up in a panic room, so there's no way he could have seen Deadpool fleeing the scene in Dopinder's taxi cab.
Sure, some of his henchmen initially gave chase, but there's no evidence to suggest they had the chance to tail the taxi. Plus, after a high-stakes mission, surely the merc would be mindful about being followed home and be aware if a foe was doing that.
Deadpool wears a mask not just to conceal his scarred face but also to protect his identity so this kind of thing cannot happen. Without a quick scene to confirm the merc was followed home, the mob suddenly arriving on his doorstep doesn't add up.
