7. Are There Any Secondary Villains?

Though Cable will clearly be playing the main antagonist throughout most of the movie, it's extremely likely that he will turn to Deadpool's side in act three. As such, there has to be a secondary antagonist waiting in the wings, right?

Prediction: It's possible that Russell, who is rumoured to be responsible for the apocalyptic future Cable hails from, could be the ultimate villain, but it's far more probable that the main baddie is in fact Black Tom Cassidy, a plant-manipulating supervillain who will apparently be played by Jack Kesy.

Though this casting was announced a long time ago, neither the character nor the actor have appeared in any of the movie's marketing, and there have even been rumours that the villain's been removed entirely from the movie in reshoots.

Deadpool and Cable clearly need someone to turn their combined efforts to, so we'll optimistically predict that Cassidy is in the movie, but in a fairly limited capacity. Otherwise, the movie's soundtrack listing does nod towards Juggernaut appearing in the movie, but that could just as easily be a throwaway reference.
