8. Deadpool Gets Some Upgrades

The Rumour: Because being virtually immortal isn't power enough, the sequel will see the Merc with a Mouth gain a bunch of new technological trinkets ripped straight from the comics: perhaps a teleportation device, a holographic emitter allowing him to disguise himself, and maybe even a magic satchel allowing him to carry an hilariously improbable number of weapons and items.

The Truth: Considering Deadpool 2 opens with a James Bond-homaging opening titles sequence, it actually would've suited the movie extremely well to give 'Pool a bunch of gadgets and really milk the Bond parody.

It didn't happen, though, and considering the movie already had so much to juggle, making Deadpool even more ridiculously over-powered probably wasn't the best idea. It could definitely happen in the next movie, even if only temporarily, but in Deadpool 2, his abilities and outfitting are effectively the same as in the first film.
