12. RIP The X-Force

The marketing did a splendid job playing-up the fact that Deadpool would have a team at his side this time, something the final movie squarely pokes insane fun at...by killing most of them off before they get the chance to do anything.

After they leap out of the plane, Bedlam (Terry Crews) is hit by a bus, Shatterstar (Lewis Tan) flies into the blades of a chopper, Vanisher is electrocuted by a power line, Zeitgeist (Bill Skarsgård) is blended by a wood chipper, and Peter has his arm melted by Zeitgeist's acid vomit.

Considering the trailers even showed Bedlam and Shatterstar fighting DMC goons on the ground, it was a wonderful piece of marketing misdirection that preserved one of the year's most uproariously funny and surprising scenes.
