4. Wolverine's Return?

All throughout Deadpool 2, Wade Wilson takes constant aim at Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. First, it's the fact his death upstages his own at the beginning, and then the next, it's because he allowed him to become a grotesque, mouthless... thing in X-Men Origins.

Fans already know how the sequel resolved that particular issue, but extra scenes in the home release reveal that there was more too. The director's cut actually shows Wade saying "one day, your old pal Wade is gonna ask you to get back in the saddle again. And when he does, say yes."

Now, what makes this so interesting is that Ryan Reynolds has been very vocal about seeing a potential crossover between Deadpool and Wolverine on the big screen. Obviously Hugh Jackman has retired from the role, but with Disney now set to assume the rights for the X-Men, X-Force, and Deadpool 2, could a change of scenery influence Jackman to rethink his choice, and if so, does this deleted scene provide our first inkling that it could actually happen?
