7. The Plot's (Mostly) Still A Mystery

The marketing has made it clear that the early plot at least revolves around Cable trying to take custody of Russell (Julian Dennison), the young mutant who may or may not turn out to be a rebooted version of Pyro.

This obviously brings Cable and Deadpool into conflict with one another, but what this leads to and how it all ties into the overall narrative remains to be seen.

Considering how many tentpole movies make it so easy to spell everything out well ahead of time, it's refreshing to see Deadpool 2 keeping the specifics to a minimum, ensuring there should hopefully be some neat reveals left when the film hits cinemas.
