15. The Julian Dennison Nesting Doll

There's an even sneakier toy-based nod in the same sequence, where a Russian nesting doll can be seen wearing a red jacket. This is most definitely a deliberate reference to the currently unnamed character Julian Dennison will be playing in the film, who was previously featured wearing identical clothing in the first teaser trailer.

If you want to take it even further, Dennison also wore a similar red jacket in the film that surely won him this gig in the first place, 2016's Hunt for the Wilderpeople, which was directed by Thor: Ragnarok's brilliant Taika Waititi.
