Deadpool is officially back, and he hasn't lost any of his bite after moving home from FOX to Disney. In a new interview with Collider, MCU head honcho Kevin Feige confirmed that the third instalment is still a ways from being filmed, but is actively in production and will officially be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Even better, Feige confirmed Deadpool 3 will bring back Ryan Reynolds and retain its R-rating, despite the usual family-friendly nature of Disney's MCU output.

He explained to the outlet's Steve Weintraub:

"It will be rated R and we are working on a script right now, and Ryan’s overseeing a script right now… It will not be [filming] this year. Ryan is a very busy, very successful actor. We’ve got a number of things we’ve already announced that we now have to make, but it’s exciting for it to have begun."

Production on the flick was actually reported last year via Deadline, but this is the first time someone from Marvel or Disney has officially commented on it. There were worries that Disney would either dilute the brand by making it less adult-orientated in line with its other cinematic offerings, but Feige has now put those fears to rest.
