Deadpool Review: 9 Ups And 7 Downs You Need To Know

6. Deadpool V Colossus

Forget Batman V Superman, the superhero throwdown to watch this year was Deadpool V Colossus. Thanks to the latter's attempt to stop Deadpool from his reign of mayhem on the highway and recruit him to the X-Men, the former thinks its actually worthwhile trying to punch his way to victory against the metal man. That goes about as well as you'd expect. Again, it's another great example of DP's insanity that he thinks that is a fight he could actually win. First he breaks one hand on Colossus' face, then another. As both hands hang limp, he turns to the camera and mugs; "the T-Rex was always the dinosaurs' fiercest enemy!". It's one of the biggest laughs of the film. Cap it all off with Colossus handcuffing Deadpool to himself, at which point DP goes all 127 Hours and saws his own hand off, allowing him to escape - leaving the severed hand rigor mortis'd in the position of bird firmly flipped at the big Russian lug.
