35. Its Christmas Day
Deadpool sort of explains why he wears red - though it doesn't really ring true - but the idea of him waiting for Christmas to sort out his naughty list is a nice one. And a particularly fitting one. Plus, theres the reason why they chose to release the trailer on Christmas Day then. Miller added his own reasoning:
"I guess I would say - without ruining anything - its Christmas for his character. But his character isnt necessarily connected to all of the reality of our world. But we did plan the film to be a heartwarming holiday classic - we had to work Christmas in there!"
