A Disney Channel original movie that became a genuine phenomenon for a time, of course Disney are going back to the High School Musical well for their streaming service.

This time, though, it'll be in the form of a TV series. It's unlikely the original cast will return, bar some cameos, but this one has a twist: it'll be filmed in documentary style, and follow a group of students staging a production of High School Musical, with a mix of old and original songs. So basically a mix of HSM and Glee, which should be good fun for its target audience. (Hi yes, it's me).
