Almost every villain needs a sidekick of their own to help them in their evil deeds. A henchman who always is there to make sure that all their plans run smoothly... or at least that's what they are supposed to do.
Usually for the nasties in Disney movies, their sidekicks are loyal but not usually the most intelligent. They tend to always fail to do their master's bidding. Never quite doing everything exactly as they were supposed to and ending up giving our heroes the edge to take down the big baddies.
