Doctor Strange: 10 Best Moments
8. The Cloak Of Levitation
When the New York Sanctum is attacked by Kaecilius (Mads Mikkelsen) and his goons, Strange attempts to fend off the attack, and accidentally comes into possession of the Cloak of Levitation after its display case is damaged.
The Cloak quickly decides that it likes Strange and helps him trap Kaecilius inside a magical restraining suit of armour, pointing Strange in the direction of the contraption by quite literally refusing to allow him to move in the opposite direction.
There's also a hilarious exchange where the Cloak wraps itself around one of the other zealots and repeatedly smashes his head into the ground, enough to almost make you feel bad for the guy.
Though the Cloak has no humanoid visage nor can it speak, one gets the distinct impression that it's basically like a dog, given how viciously it took on the enemies of its owner, and how playfully it guided Strange to its will.
If Marvel plays this right for future movies, they've got a real winner on their hands here.
