9. The Big Cameos Were All Given Away

Despite this movie sounded like a very unpredictable, secretive one a la Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: No Way Home, it's not actually like that in the end. The true villain of the movie is a big surprise (more on that later) and Charlize Theron has a tantalizing cameo at the end, but other than that? There's little to write home about and the film is honestly fairly predictable.

Of course, the thing people were really hyped about was the Illuminati. In the final film, this consists of: Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart), What If's Captain Carter (Hayley Atwell), Reed Richards (John Krasinski), Inhumans' Black Bolt (Anson Mount), Maria Rambeau (Lashanna Lynch) as a Captain Marvel variant and finally, a variant of Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofer).

On paper, that sounds absolutely thrilling and it would've been... had it not been totally spoiled beforehand!

For some stupid reason, the trailers gave away the presence of Charles Xavier and Captain Carter, while pre-release leaks hinted that Kransinski was in the movie. As for the other cameos, it was hard to give a toss about them - like, who actually watched Inhumans? - and as a result, this part of the movie falls completely flat.
