For a guy who can transcend realities and wields the most power of any hero in the MCU so far, you have to believe that Doctor Strange tangles with enemies a little more befitting of his skill set than red-faced Nazis or billionaire industrialists or billionaire industrialists or billionaire industrialists (man, not a lot of variation in those Iron Man antagonists huh). That means that most of the time Strange finds himself having to contend with scores of mystical, demonic villains unlike anything that's appeared in the Marvel films so far...well, except for Thor. But even the Norse god ends up going toe-to-toe with recognisable mythical monsters, like frost giants and bad elves and the like. For the Sorcerer Supreme, things get a little more trippy once again: his arch nemesis is, arguably, The Dread One Dormammu, who's essentially the Marvel Universe's equivalent of Satan, Lord Of Chaos and ruler of an alternate dimension. An alternate dimension full of demonic beings like the Mindless Ones, hordes of humanoid creatures who are controlled using dark magic and don't do a whole lot but destroy. Still more interesting than Aldrich Killian.
