Dracula returning in The Un-Dead

Dracula will be returning to the big screen in a movie titled The Un-Dead. The flick which has been fully endorsed by the Bram Stoker family (something that hasn't been the case for decades) is based on a novel written by Stoker's great grand-nephew and it should begin production in Eastern Europe late this year.

The flick which will be directed by Ernest R. Dickerson, will pick up 25 years after the original book which formed the basis of the 1931 classic Bela Lugosi movie Dracula. So in truth, you could almost call this a sequel to a movie that is 76 years old.

The Un-Dead will also feature the characters of Jack the Ripper and Madome Barthory who were cut from the original publication of the Bram Stoker novel, which is a new and interesting take for a much filmed tale.

Can't wait for this, but finding a good actor to play Dracula has been many the problem with these adaptations in the past.
