The brilliant Mark Rylance will appear as a British citizen who sails out from England to Dunkirk in order to help with the evacuation, bringing along his son and his son's friend George (Barry Keoghan), who volunteers his services, insisting he'll be useful.

The film spent time shooting in Dorset, so it's likely Rylance's character is sailing from there. Rylance is a great pick for a steely, determined character of this sort, though it remains to be seen whether or not he'll make it out of the film in one piece, along with his younger shipmates.
