Edgar Wright: The Definitive Guide To Homages, Influences And References

Lucas Lee Movies All of Lucas Lee€™s hilariously awful films have hilariously awful posters (all of which are ripped off genuine Hollywood posters like Mission Impossible and The Fast & The Furious). Their hilariously awful titles come from song names by the band Plumtree, who provide some of the score and have their t-shirt worn at first by Scott during the Rockit clash. The only one that isn€™t is the worst of all, €˜Action Doctor.€™ The castle used in Lucas Lee€™s filmset is the Casa Loma, which has featured in several films including X-Men, Strange Brew, Chicago, Tuxedo, The Pacifier and The Love Guru. So really, it would be a perfect place for Lee to shoot his movie. Another often-used film location which Wright found use for in the film was the alleyway where Todd reveals his vegan powers before he punches her into the atmosphere. Among many films, Kick-Ass also uses that alleyway.
