The World's End - David Bradley The second pub on the crawl is The Old Familiar. Again, while this is a fairly common pub name in Britain, it has a deeper meaning within the film. Namely, The Old Familiar referred to here is David Bradley€™s Basil, an old man known to the group. Bradley €“ who€™s best known for playing caretaker Argus Filch in the Harry Potter films €“ also cameos in Hot Fuzz as Arthur Webley, the man with the magnificent gun cabinet replete with a sea mine. However, in this film he€™s far easier to understand, if seemingly crazier.
