The eventual chase out of the Kings Head to the Hole In The Wall features two of the standard jokes of the Cornetto trilogy. First of all, the pub contains the same fruit machine titled Ooh Aah Dracula which can be seen in the The Winchester and The Castle in Shaun Of The Dead and Hot Fuzz respectively. Secondly, when Gary is running away from the blanks he attempts to leap over a fence, echoing Shaun and Nick Angels similar scenes. The variation here is that the entire thing falls down, instead of just providing a stumbling block or being something to somersault over.
