Hollywood€™s most famous auteur €“ still as keen a movie-watcher as he was when he was a video store clerk €“ ranked Shaun of the Dead in his top twenty films since 1992, high praise indeed from somebody so well-informed. Wright€™s prize for impressing one of Hollywood€™s most esoteric film-making minds? He got to direct a fake film trailer for Grindhouse, the flick Tarantino helmed with Robert Rodriguez. Entitled Don€™t and featuring Katie Melua and Matthew MacFayden, it harked back to the days of Hammer Horror. There was no real story to it aside from shocks, but then again there wasn€™t much to Machete, yet that still found its way into its own film. I suppose there€™s still hope for this one€
