After all, theres a combination of orange light and smoke as they both ascend. This is in reference to Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, or more specifically the scene when Lando rises on a platform in the Millennium Falcon to help rescue an exhausted and disfigured Luke from the bottom of a Bespin tower.
