8. Skinny Pete & Badger
The first trailer for El Camino centered entirely around Skinny Pete, being questioned regarding the whereabouts of his friend Jesse. This shows him as he has always been - a loyal friend and ally to Pinkman.
The same can be said of Badger who, rarely seen without Skinny Pete by his side, has helped Jesse in the past, doing just about anything that was asked of him.
In El Camino, these two are the first people Jesse goes to after fleeing the shooting site, and it is one of the smartest choice he makes in the entire movie. As a fugitive from the law, driving in a highly sought after car, Jesse needs help, and gets it from his two buddies.
Skinny came up with the plan to leave the titular vehicle at his place, while Pinkman escaped in Badger’s car. Badger took one for the team by driving Pete’s car as far towards Mexico as he could, just to throw the cops off the scent, before having to hitch hike all the way back home.
