Empire's The Avengers Cover Issue Features New Images

See Black Widow & Hawkeye enjoy 'some quiet time' and a few more images of Nick Fury and Captain America!

Empire Magazine's latest subscriber-only issue features Marvel's The Avengers on the front cover, specifically Chris Evans's Captain America, Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow, Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man and Chris Hemsworth's Thor. Poor Mark Ruffalo's The Incredible Hulk... The new issue also has a few new images from the film. The first has Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye and Johansson's Black Widow sharing some 'quiet time'; Another image of just Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson); And finally Fury handing over some info to Steve Rogers; Written and directed by Buffy 'The Vampire' Slayer creator Joss Whedon, the giant superhero ensemble also stars Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Clark Gregg (Agent Coulson), Stellan Skarsgard (Prof. Erik Selvig), Gwyneth Paltrow (Pepper Potts) and Cobie Smulders (Maria Hill). There's also a small role for Jenny Agutter but don't believe her claims that Spider-Man will be making a cameo in the film because she is mistaken! The Avengers is coming May 4th, 2012 and doesn€™t feel that long away now.
