Every 2016 Comic Book Movie Character Ranked - From Worst To Best
14. Deadshot (Suicide Squad)
There was a lot of pre-release concern that Will Smith would end up stealing the movie away from Jared Leto and Margot Robbie with his Will Smith-ness, but ultimately, he did a fantastic job keeping the movie together (or trying to, at least).
With a simple and effective backstory regarding his daughter, an awesome interaction with Batman, a great costume, some of the movie's best one-liners and plenty of decent action beats, Deadshot basically succeeds where most of the movie's other "heroes" fail.
Sure, he could've worn the iconic mask a lot more and that "Some kind of Suicide Squad" line is pretty painful, but Smith did a fantastic job with what he had, and Warner Bros. would be smart to include him in future DCEU movies.
