Every 2016 Comic Book Movie Character Ranked - From Worst To Best
2. Deadpool (Deadpool)
After the character was thoroughly ballsed-up in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Ryan Reynolds got the rarest of things to set the record straight: a do-over.
This long-gestating, R-rated passion project allowed Ryan Reynolds to finally give the insane, hilarious and very, very offensive Deadpool portrayal fans deserved, and the results were spectacular.
Sure, the movie's plot is disappointingly familiar and the villains aren't great as already mentioned, but in terms of sheer entertaining personality, there's almost no superhero who was as riotously fun to watch as Wade Wilson's alter ego.
It definitely didn't hurt that Fox's marketing campaign was absolutely phenomenal, and made even the most casual viewers feel like they knew the character before setting foot in the cinema.
