Every 2016 Netflix Original Movie Ranked Worst To Best
6. Spectral
Though the antagonists aren't anything more than disappointingly generic-looking CGI ghost-like creatures, Spectral is a surprisingly satisfying sci-fi romp for the most part, considering it was pulled from a planned theatrical release and dumped on Netflix.
Nic Mathieu's sturdy direction combines with a strong lead performance from James Badge Dale to make Spectral entertaining even though it rarely pushes the boat out and is full of generic moments.
If the enemies were more interesting, this could've been a real winner for Netflix when it comes to big-budget sci-fi, but instead it settles for being a competent product that avoids a lot of dumb Hollywood cliches.
