Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked By How Punchable Adam Sandler Is
1. That's My Boy
Here's the central premise of That's My Boy in a nutshell: I'm a grown man who hasn't yet evolved into a fully functional member of society and you're an idiot for believing in "adult responsibilities." You should be more of a thoughtless jackass like myself. It would make you a lot cooler.
It's basically Adam Sandler's real life philosophy translated onto the big screen with a few more vulgar epithets thrown in for good measure.
Whereas most movies would at least dabble with the concept of character maturation - maybe by having the excessively dick-ish Sandler learn a lesson about...not being such a dick - That's My Boy instead puts the onus of "growth" on Andy Samberg's socially awkward (but not dick-ish) character.
What was supposed to be a triumphant return to his bad boy roots instead plays like a lame exercise in bad taste.
Punch Level: How many times can you punch someone until it's considered attempted murder?
