Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked Worst To Best
26. Sandy Wexler (2017)
File this one under Good Performance, Bad Film. Sandler, in another film produced under his Netflix contract, portrays a troubled talent manager who finds purpose and love in the form of a scene-stealing Jennifer Hudson.
Playing into his ability of bringing flawed men to life with a great amount of heart lingering under the surface, the main issue with Sandy Wexler is the script, which brings the story to life with tired comedy rather than the quieter dramatic approach it's clearly asking for.
This isn't too surprising given its a Steven Brill production (he directed The Do-Over the year before), but considering its potential it's certainly disappointing.
