Every Adam Sandler Movie Ranked Worst To Best
40. That's My Boy (2012)
One of Adam Sandler's greatest assets has always been his accessibility. His films may be silly and dumb and often very crass, but they appeal to a family audience all the same, their often meaningful themes shining through the PG-13 humour.
And sure, seeing how funny and off-the-wall he can be was always bound to make people want to see him break free into a more adult comedy, but I defy anyone to tell me they were hoping for That's My Boy, an offensively nasty disaster that spits in the face of what makes Sandler such a draw.
Sandler's turn as a washed-up celebrity made famous for impregnating his school teacher allows him to go all-out, but both he and on-screen son Andy Samberg aren't nearly enough to save That's My Boy from its blunt portrayal of incest (seriously), rape (really), and shoddy parenting (obviously). Stay clear.
