Every Cillian Murphy Movie Ranked Worst To Best

13. A Quiet Place Part II (2021)

Cillian Murphy Inception
Paramount

If A Quiet Place Part II doesn't quite live up to its predecessor, it more than makes up for its slight quality dip with a host of evocative performances, the most gruelling of which comes from Murphy's turn as a mourning, cynical survivor given reason to fight again.

Haunted and weathered, Murphy fills the screen with the presence of a man hanging onto his last tendrils of hope whilst his world implodes around him.

He's heroic but ordinary, and although second fiddle to an astounding Emily Blunt (soon to be his on-screen wife in Oppenheimer), you can't help but gravitate to the loss lingering in his eyes, or the goodness evident in his heart.
