Every DC Movie That's Just Been Delayed
3. The Flash - June 3 2022
This much anticipated but much delayed project just feels like a movie that can't take a trick. Despite being planned for over five years now, production for The Flash has once more been put on hold due to the current world climate. Despite this, Warner Bros made the rather surprising announcement that the release date for The Flash has actually been moved forward, if only slightly.
The original release date for the film was scheduled for July 1 2022, but it has been announced that the movie will now hit cinemas a week earlier on June 3 2022. The decision to move The Flash's release a month earlier appears to be in direct response to the Captain Marvel sequel being scheduled for a July 8 release date, and a sensible decision at that.
Warner Bros. may have their work cut out however to get the movie completed, with star Ezra Miller finding himself in severe hot water due to a filmed incident in Iceland. In footage that has gone viral, Miller is seen physically attacking a woman, forcibly grabbing her by the throat.
Warner Bros. have stated that the film will continue with or without Miller, but one has to wonder if this will prove a fatal blow for the already troubled production.
