A bat s**t crazy contest that should have left both combatants with permanent brain damage several times over, Rocky IV's final battle is the series at its most cartoonish... but were you seriously not entertained.
Several epic montages and the death of a close friend hyped up this grudge match and it certainly delivered in the testosterone stakes, not to mention single-handedly repaired US-Soviet relations.
If you could surpress the cringes for the entire duration - which wasn't a problem considering Rocky fans had been doing that since the third instalment's crop-top scene - Rocky IV's delivers an explosive payoff.
