Every Halloween Movie (They Never Actually Made)
17. Halloween 666: The Origin & Halloween 666: The Curse Of Michael Myers
Two snappy titles that made use of the good old 666 trope for the sixth entry into the series, the first movie pitched - titled The Origin - was another trippy look at Michael Myers in a way he hadn't been seen before.
Incorporating virtual reality into its vision of a homeless Michael Myers, The Origin brings in another Myers sister by the name of Dana and brings in a load of old cameos: but was deemed 'crummy' by its own writer, Scott Spiegel, and tossed for being unfocused.
666: The Curse was a two hour feature that was riddled with alternate endings, and functioned as the early draft for Halloween 6. It was super intense and scary, stopping on executive from sleeping the night he read it and serving as the reason Donald Pleasance signed back on, but ended up being chopped and changed to fit a more mainstream audience in its final form.
