Every James Bond Girl Ranked From Worst To Best
30. Severine - Skyfall
While Skyfall is one of the very, very best Bond films of them all that sure as hell doesn't mean it's perfect. Its one Bond Girl of note - aside from Naomie Harris' Eve Moneypenny, who isn't included here - isn't too great.
Like so, so many of these characters, Severine, who is one of Raoul Silva's associates, has presence and is intriguing, while the actresses' performance is solid too, but she ultimately doesn't do enough and is unceremoniously killed off before getting much of a chance to do anything.
As well as this, that scene where Bond creeps into her shower unannounced and seduces her - just after learning she became a sex slave at the age of 12, no less - was about as misjudged as it gets and was the most problematic James Bond scene since... well, since the 1980s.
After Silva shoots her Bond quips "Waste of a good scotch" in a rather disrespectful manner (a glass of scotch was placed on her head as a target), but a far better description would be "Waste of a potentially interesting character."
