Every Major Movie Sequel Of 2022 - Ranked From Worst To Best

22. Jurassic World Dominion

While most all of the Jurassic Park sequels are mediocre-at-best, Jurassic World Dominion is the first to be legitimately boring.

A cynical Legacy Sequel which strains to unite the original and new casts into one harmonious ensemble, even the presences of Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum feels flagrantly half-assed throughout this aggressively soulless blockbuster.

Packed to the gills with exhausting subplots - you'll never look at locusts the same way again - and thinly sketched characters, it's a film that only briefly comes to life during the mid-movie Malta chase, after which it settles back into the groove of a creatively bankrupt, utterly anonymous franchise capper.

If an algorithm produced a nostalgia-bait sequel, it'd surely turn out something like this stamina-draining bore of a movie.
