After she became one of the most requested prospective MCU additions (mostly from fans on Twitter), Kevin Feige addressed Ms Marvel hype in an interview with BBC with the useful “definitely sort-of in the works.”

“We’re doing Captain Marvel right now. Captain Marvel‘s shooting right now with Brie Larson. Ms. Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, is definitely sort-of in the works. We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world.”

Will It Happen?

He literally said it was "sort of" in the works. What more do you people want?

At the minute, Feige seems to be operating on the principle that EVERY single character he's asked about is fair game. So he's basically just saying yes to everything and covering himself by being a bit vague. BUT, after repeated calls for more diversity, Marvel not going for a Ms Marvel movie would be the biggest missed opportunity of all time.
