With the initial Bourne trilogy over and done with, Damon teamed up once more with director Paul Greengrass for Green Zone, a plot-twisting, action-heavy war film set during the Invasion of Iraq.

Damon's role as Warrant Officer Roy Miller allows the actor to lean deeper into his action star sensibilities, with Greengrass's signature blend of high-octane violence and quick-cut editing creating a tension-fuelled thriller of the highest order.

It might not do much new from a plot standpoint, but with its execution it can't be faulted.
