Thanks to having five Spider-Man movies with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield since 2002, we were spared several scenes in the MCU that we had scene several times already. There was no death of Uncle Ben, and nor was there an origin story for his powers.

Despite not seeing the famous spider bite, it became instantly clear that Peter Parker was incredibly strong. Deceptively so. Though he may have looked like a kid when he was drafted into Team Iron Man, he was seen to stop a bus at full speed, and stopped a punch from Bucky with relatively little effort.

This was just the tip of Spider-Man's strength however. In Homecoming, the MCU's newest hero was able to hold together the two separate halves of the Long Island ferry, and when he found himself crushed under the rubble of a destroyed building, he was able to summon enough strength to pick it up and free himself.

Peter was always a shy kid, but he firmly believed in his own abilities and wasn't happy with just stopping local bike thieves. He had the strength to do so much more for Mr. Stark and the Avengers, a claim that he more than backed up on Titan.
