Every MCU Movie & TV Show Ranked Worst To Best

17. Loki (2021)

Loki and Mobius episode 1
Walt Disney Corporation

Loki dies in Avengers: Infinity War, but as ever the God of Mischief proved impossible to keep away from the action. Brought back as an alternate version of himself and thrust into an interdimensional battle for the universe's very future, his return to the franchise marks a true series high point.

Always the bridesmaid, the show finally gives Loki (and Tom Hiddleston) centre stage, throwing him headlong into a war he's both hopelessly underqualified for, and yet the only one capable of winning.

With only a handful of messy pacing issues and moments of filler, Loki moves with brilliant speed and great emotion, and finally gives insight into the man he always was under his villainous façade. Marvel TV rarely gets as cathartic and truly epic as this.
