Every MCU One-Shot Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Agent Carter

Team Thor Part 2
Marvel Studios

If 'Item 47' knocked up Marvel Studios’ One-Shot game a notch, 'Agent Carter' took it up another ten. Following on one year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger, this short showed exactly what Peggy Carter was coming up against.

The answer, for the most part, was chauvinism and sexism in her job. Completely undermined and patronized by Agent Flynn, Carter was pitied and told she was only given a job to help her through her grief.

However, anyone who knew Agent Carter knew that wasn’t true. When all the boys were out drinking after their shift, Peggy took on an operation recommended for three to five agents by herself, completed it with relative ease, and was still chastised by Flynn, probably because it made him look so stupid.

Though not nearly as stupid as when Howard Stark instantly offered to take Carter to the top of S.H.I.E.L.D. In much the same way as 'Item 47' was a precursor to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., 'Agent Carter' was what ultimately opened the door for… Agent Carter.
